In this microwave society of instant gratification, it seems people want success to happen quicker and quicker. Luckily, there is a secret to immediate success that everyone has access to. In fact, the secret lies within all of us at all times. We are never without it. The secret to success…
is allowing yourself
What’s the first thing that comes to mind when you hear that word? Is it a loss of control? Is it fear? Is it awareness? Is it freedom? Is it love? Every emotion has a vibration attached to it, including those listed above of course. What we scientifically and spiritually understand about energy is that energy never dies, it only changes forms. Everything in life is energy. Certain emotions, such as forgiveness, confidence, and love can raise your vibrational energy. Alternatively, emotions such as anger, insecurity, fear, resentment, coveting can lower it.
To me, being vulnerable is one of the highest expressions of pure love. One cannot reach their greatest potential if they do not allow themselves to be vulnerable.
I’m aware of this and yet recently, I found myself having a difficult time with it. It was one of those situations where everything was going smoothly, so much so that it psyched me out. I began thinking, “Wait a minute. What am I missing?? Am I being naïve?? I have to figure this out!!” And so began the ever so “fun” cycle of over analyzing and attempting to get ahead of whatever it was that lay ahead. (Even though we all know when we do this, we really only sabotage ourselves.)
In that particular example, my ego stole my presence in the present. It lowered my vibrational energy and replaced my warmth with frigidness. Had I allowed my ego to go unchecked, it would have created a self-fulfilling prophecy.
Life is meant to be lived in the moment NOT “controlled”!
The unchecked ego desperately grasps for an imagined level of power and false sense of control. If you allow it to win, it will do what it’s best at doing– sabotage you.
Allowing yourself to be vulnerable frees you from the suffocating clenches of your ego. Being vulnerable allows you to be fully present in the moment, without casting unpleasant doubts or fears upon yourself.
Your success story in all avenues of your life, from career to dating to personal growth, will come when you’re comfortable being vulnerable. Being vulnerable is nothing to discourage or fear rather, it’s something to celebrate!
The gift we give ourselves.
Peace & love 💜🙏🏽
